BHA YOUTH FORUM - UK

By Rajen Paul, Youth Organiser

Bangladesh Hindu Association started operations in the UK over 20 years. It was formed by a group of dedicated individuals as an umbrella organisation with the key objectives of promoting the identity of Hindus who can trace their ancestral roots to Bangladesh, making others aware of the heritage and contributions of Hindus from Bangladesh and helping individuals in need. As we reflect on our journey, it is important to appreciate that the future of our heritage, voice, and resilience lies in the hands of our youth. Today, more than ever, we need young voices to stand at the forefront of advocacy, truth-telling, and justice.

The history of atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh is not just a chapter in our past — it is a lived reality for many and is often overlooked in mainstream media. It is our collective responsibility to raise awareness, educate others, and ensure that these injustices are acknowledged and remembered. Youth participation is not optional — it is essential. Through social media, community engagement, and cross-cultural dialogue, we have powerful tools at our disposal. Our awareness and activism today can pave the way for a more just and inclusive future tomorrow. Let us honour our past not with silence, but with purpose of BHA UK.
