I am proud to have been a part of Bangladesh Hindu Association (BHA) since its very inception. BHA continues to go from strength to strength; tirelessly advocating for and uplifting those who are most in need, standing firm against the no injustices of discrimination and atrocities being committed against innocent Hindus (and other minorities) in Bangladesh.

Twenty five years ago, our founders came together with a vision to preserve our rich cultural and spiritual heritage, support our community, and create a platform for unity and shared values in the UK. As we celebrate this silver jubilee, we reflect not only on how far we’ve come but also on the strength and resilience that has carried us through. Over the years, this Association has become home for many a place where traditions are honoured, festivals are celebrated with joy,and support is extended in times of need. We have grown together, welcomed new generations, and stood by one another through challenges, always guided by the principles of dharma, community service, and mutual respect I would like to express my deepest appreciation to all past and present committee members, volunteers and supporters whose dedication and passion have made this milestone possible.Your contributions have built a legacy that we can all be proud of.

BHA(UK) has been engaged all through to create, sustain and promote congenial and harmonious community relations between different ethnic groups, Hindu religious and cultural groups including youth groups living in the UK. BHA(UK) is deeply involved in preserving our Sanatani identity and supporting our new generation to understand their own ethnic origin, religion and culture. The challenges BHA(UK) has faced successfully so far show the passion, commitment and resilience of the whole organisation. BHA(UK) has been maintaining its promises to help our community here in the UK and abroad, particularly in Bangladesh during natural disasters, ethnic cleansings and atrocities for being Hindu as minority in Bangladesh including other human rights issues for minorities, by planning adopting and implementing variety of activities.

The Bangladesh Hindu Association’s silver jubilee is an occasion to look forward rather than merely commemorate the past. Issues of minority rights, inclusion, and identity are still crucial in a society that is changing quickly. The BHA’s ongoing goals will remain to empower marginalised communities, foster intercultural harmony, and increase community representation. The Association’s legacy is evident as it marks 25 years of service: a community that was previously voiceless has rediscovered its voice. The upcoming chapter is expected to be equally important, with increased prominence, a more profound influence, and a revitalised force. Congratulations on the 25th anniversary of the Bangladesh Hindu Association! I hope the next 25 years bring even more success
